Tips for Multivariable Calculus Course Success

  1. Prepare a pencil and scratch paper. Mathematics is not read like a narrative; rather, it is a sing-along in which you follow the calculations you are reading with your own computations on paper. It is also a good idea to read until you grasp what is coming next and then try to do it yourself.
