So, here I am going to explain the most effective and simple ways to cook a brisket on a pellet grill.
Start cooking the brisket in the morning
As the name of the article suggests, I am starting the cooking in the morning. Why is it suggested to start in the morning? Because the morning is the best time to cook as the meat will be at room temperature and will be easier to cook. Also, the meat will be juicy and tender.
Cook the brisket for 12 to 14 hours
If you are cooking the brisket for a longer period of time then it will be difficult to handle it. If you are cooking the brisket for only 12 hours then you can handle it.
Cook the brisket for 6 to 8 hours
Cooking for 6 to 8 hours is sufficient, but if you are planning to cook for 12 hours then you must follow the previous step.
Clean the brisket
After cooking the brisket for a long time you must clean the brisket. You can soak it in a mixture of 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar and 2 cups of water. You can even clean it by rubbing it with a damp cloth.
Add the seasoning
After cleaning the brisket you can add some seasoning. You can season it with salt, pepper, and any other seasoning that you want.
Place it on the pellet grill
After seasoning the brisket, you need to place it on the pellet grill. This is the most crucial part of the entire process. If you are placing the brisket at the wrong place then you might end up with a burnt brisket.
Cook for 4 to 5 hours
Now that the brisket is placed on the grill, you need to start checking the temperature of the brisket. If the temperature is not reaching 60 degrees then you need to cook the brisket for an extra hour.
Remove the brisket
After the temperature reaches 60 degrees you can remove the brisket from the grill. It is the most important part as you need to make sure that the brisket is cooked in a proper way.
If you follow these steps then you will easily get a delicious and tender brisket. I have also mentioned some tips which will help you to cook a perfect brisket.
