Whether you’re the kind of person who prefers to spend Sunday napping or reading by the fire, or if you’re more like me and Sunday practically flies past (and away) as your kick off another week of work, we can all agree that Sundays are pretty great. Here is a list of the five best ways I’ve found to spend my Sunday at a steakhouse in The Woodlands:
-
Fill up on brunch
That’s right! Some steakhouses (we won’t mention any names *cough* Christner’s *cough*) offer both lunch and dinner menus on Sundays, so go ahead and fill up with some eggs Benedict while everyone else is rushing around trying to figure out what they want for brunch.
-
Treat yourself to a bottle of wine
Did somebody say Sunday Funday Y’all?! Soak in your day of leisure with a nice bottle of vino from the establishment’s wine list. Again, this is where being able to dine at both lunch and dinner times serves you well! Who said drinking on an empty stomach was bad for you anyhow? I’m pretty sure there are studies out there somewhere…
-
Catch up on some reading
If napping isn’t your thing, then catching up on that backlog of New Yorkers or Vogue magazines that have been piling up might just be the change of pace you’ve been looking for. Either way, Sunday is the day to catch up on some much needed rest.
-
Sleep in a little later than usual
If you’re anything like us, Sunday is also the day for sleeping in a few extra hours. Whether it’s a weekend spent out late or an especially exhausting week at work, Sundays afford you that luxury of waking up well-rested and relaxed after your long-awaited sleep. If this isn’t possible due to the aforementioned napping situation, I guess you could always catch up on some reading…
-
Enjoy a nice BBQ steak (or any steak for that matter)
If all else fails, there is always something delicious awaiting you at The Woodlands’ finest steakhouses! Have yourself a nice juicy steak or throw down with some barbecue ribs; we won’t judge.

The one thing I would say if you’re going to dress up for dinner on Sunday night, is to wear something casual.
If you wear your Sunday best on a Sunday night you’ll be underdressed compared to the rest of the people eating at the restaurant.
And of course, this isn’t applicable only to steakhouse attire but also goes for all types of fine dining establishments.
